Make Me An Instrument Of Your Peace

"Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred... let me sow love.
Where there is injury... pardon.
Where there is doubt... faith.
Where there is despair... hope.
Where there is darkness... light.
Where there is sadness... joy."

Oh, Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console. To be understood, as to understand. For it is in giving that we receive. It is in pardoning that we are pardoned. And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Amen.

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

The Lady of All Nations

Lord Jesus, Christ, Son of the Father send now your Spirit over the earth. Let the Holy Spirit live in the hearts of all nations, that they may be preserved from degeneration, disaster and war. May the Lady of All Nations, who once was Mary be our Advocate.

Prayer For Peace

God of love and mercy, violence and hatred can have no part of you! Hear our prayers, and grant us peace in our time, Let all peoples work together to eliminate hatred, violence, prejudice and injustice. Help us to work together to bring about a just and lasting peace in our world. We ask this through Jesus Christ, the prince of peace.
